*** FINISH-Many woodworkers are excellent
technicians, but not very proficient at finishing. We actually
LIKE to finish & begin the process at the time the wood is hand
selected & incorporate it throughout
fabrication to the final hand rubout. The catylized laquer used
on the Aristocrat offers the depth & clarity of laquer with the durability
of catylized finishes
It is a time consuming process, but the net result is a fine furniture finish that will gracefully compliment any home or office decor. Many of our clients have indicated their "bargain" purchases did not meet the standards of their existing furnishings.
** A small detail like the gently hand sanded & softened corners on the Aristocrat top, vs a "quick cleanup" like the competitor's use of a beveled router & covering up the exposed material with a contrasting dark stain pen is just one of the many design/production elements that separate the fine furniture feel of the Aristocrat from the "production cabinets". Use of solid wood for tops, base molding & doors permits the use of custom profiles for a true furniture appeal.
* The Set
& Forget is calibrated using the NIST certification standards of 3
separate points of calibration. The competitor uses a single point
with just another hygrometer.
The Aristocrat when one compares "apples to apples", is not only
less expensive, but is a better looking,
better performing humidor.
